P++ programming people to do what you want

It is an idea and I suppose Mein Kampf was one manual, but there were many before that which applied to the "Ruling Class". Advertising, propaganda, deception, flattery, brain washing, fear, torture, prisons, murder, all are classes of methods that are used on the object(human). So:

Progress Ruler(Society people){ useThemAsObjects(people); return(void); }

The problem with the monarch game is that anybody can play and from my perspective, it seems that it is not a wonderful cohesion of humanity, it is actually a virus that destroys the organism by infecting enough of the cells to disable the organism of life. Instead of a society which is the conscientious interaction of individuals which flows from the nature of the organism, a virus infects the population to distort the usual joy that would be the interaction of humans. The king virus keeps cells from sharing information so that it can provide that information which benefits the virus, which will never be a real organism. It is a degenerate form of being which disables humanity in the same way that smallpox infects a person.

It isn't difficult to deceive people. That is what gives the disease a foothold. The disease can never be a complex by its very nature. Disease is a degenerate form and my perspective is that the nature of government is that it is the personification of this disease. I know there are many arguments that say one disease protects you from infection from the others and this is good. I don't see it that way. Humanity could be walking among the stars and what keeps them from doing that is the disease that is Hitler, Stalin, Democracy, religion, business. The state of disease free is what I would like to see for humanity and it is kind of funny that any number of kings wants to stop the physical viruses that infect and from my perspective, they are one of the many viruses that have infected mankind and it will never be alive until people develop an immune system and start putting these silly little kings in their place as a kings of hell, sorting protons for eternity. It isn't some strange violence that I am speaking about. It is simply the same function that is similar to the immune system,

  1. Identify disease
  2. Isolate from resources.
  3. Allow to grow with its own resources (non-existant).
  4. It is a parasite and dies.

Death, destruction and deception is easy and any idiot can create them. Love, honesty, complexity, kindness and cooperation are difficult and can only be implemented by an advanced society of people. It seems to me that spam and computer viruses is just another representation of that type of viral personality that includes people who wish to rule others, for whatever personal gain or even delusion. It isn't hard to identify, it reaps, but does not do work.

Humanity has managed to produce some really elegant viral kings and now it should be time to be done with it, or maybe in a million years, or never. That is my perspective. I bet that makes some people very mad and they want to kill that god damned mind before it creates the antibody to viral minds and they will have to create something instead of living as leeches.

There isn't anything absolutely wrong with it, IMHO, it is just that it leads nowhere. It is an evolutionary dead end. The universe is a harsh place and some centralized kingdom will never be the form that can survive. From my perspective it is just the view of how complexity arises and it doesn't arise from the dominance of destruction over creation. The entire process looks like the action of a parasite. However elegant and deceptive the methods, they are still parasitic. It might just be me. I suppose that some people might like being slaves as it gives them a comfort and they don't have to stare into infinity as it gives them a headache. It isn't a survivable organism is my point. Like a tree designed upside down by nature , you know it isn't going to prosper and live very long. Yet it does sometimes happen. A headless horseman. Sometimes I can see things in literature and I wonder if there are writers that put this type of thing in books as analogy to say what they mean and avoid being killed by whatever is the current "king thing". I would guess that some might be more subtle in their opinion. But what is the point, a tip of the hat to a monarch is still kneeling. The point of a sword deserves no respect.

I think that Jesus was killed because he was screwing with the take at the temples. When you start giving away a delusion of immortality for a couple loaves of bred or shelter for the night to simple people it cuts the gate at the temple and also tends to make the peons uppity. I would guess they whacked him and made a public example so that they could show that if you want salvation and immortality you must pay the Heaven™ DRM fees at the temple.

The church has been giving legitimacy and support for monarchy since the time of the Pharaohs at least. How can you counter the judge when he has been appointed by the supreme being of the universe. It is a great scam and seems to always work. If random people start giving out godhood the government is going to be upset that somebody is using their scam. It makes a great excuse to kill people you don't like as you just say they don't believe in the one true "<insert>whatever bullshit you are peddling". The use of circular reasoning is probably the most effective mind control mechanism that exists. It allows something to be created from nothing by assumption and in some ways is like "magic", but actually it is one of those things that happen in the computer industry too. Sometimes there is an HCF ( Halt and Catch Fire ) instruction in the CPU. I know that people are born perfect, without flaw and so that could not be true of people. YOINK. It is a messy piece of "wetware" that has many flaws and using the flaws in other peoples brains seems a fairly dirty trick. It is also the most effective thing.

Spam would not exist if somebody wasn't gaining something from screwing with it. Many people have said that security can't come from the software as it is the people who are the weak link and I am sure that is true in computers and in the ownership of their own minds. As I stated before, people have to be able to resist the effect of improper influence to be used as tools of others. It isn't something that can be institutionalized , it must just emerge. Reality is a bastard, but self delusion is death.

End of the dying kind

In this particular image it is obvious that there has been addition to the painting and this is not a forgery, it is just an example of how easy it is to identify characteristics when the information is presented in various dimensions. This is a Mona Lisa markup for somebody who was scamming a type of hidden simulacra or pareidolia or some such phony acheiropoieta.

It is always interesting to wander about the dimensions of information space and sometimes I glimpse a pattern in the information. I finally think that I get what open source is all about and why it is perceived as such a threat. The first complex life was said to be sponges. There wasn't much to them and they were and are not that interesting in what they do. If you examine life and the ability of the body to be an organism you will see that it is a conglomeration of cells that exist to cooperate and as a result being emerges. Other forms of lower life seek to preserve themselves by destroying that structure. Inherent in being is a cooperation of the cells of the body for a common purpose and the action of a cell to prolong its own existence outside the coherence is disease.

The concept of individual existential form is sketchy at best. For one thing the particles of the system extend to infinity in their interaction with the universe and their true form. Thus a form cannot be made of infinites which is not part of the universe as a whole. There is no singular isolation in any form which emerges, even though it may be visualized as separate and individual, that is a figment of the mind.

What I see is the explosion of the multi-celled being that emerges from open source. That may sound far fetched, but all the attractors are there and it follows from the pattern of the universe. It is not a body governed by a single cell. If I were to make an analogy, the parts of a system of cooperation would become immortal in their own structure in the same way that a body recurses itself in life. By acting in concert the product reaches a break over point and something emerges and it looks like a sponge, but it is the origin of the immortal something and it seems to me that the cell has no clue what is up or down with the body, and yet it is quite happy to be safe in the coherence and as time passes, new things emerge. The structure of the elements never change and it could be said that DNA is "more" immortal than a cell and that the electron and proton are even more immortal and pervasive than that. They have very little personality and DNA is much more interesting than atoms and human life is vastly more interesting. What then of the immortal forms that extend across the stars? Is the cell aware of the body? In this case it could be possible. Cells themselves have memory as does the immune system. The relative consciousness of different forms of systems could be debated forever I suppose. I would guess that all things know pain in some form.

This is why I think that many individuals or actually people who have deluded themselves to act as a individuals, see open source or more generally the organization of individuals in many forms as a serious threat to the survival of their existence. It is not an idle concern. The transform of life from a virus to a being is certainly incomprehensible, and the virus does not want this as a multi-cellular organism can resist a virus. So a multi-celled culture excludes the virus and it becomes nothingness and that is how it will progress, whether it is wanted, needed or even right in some sense or other. Nature is a complete sociopath and a Gamma Ray Burst kills and corrupts without even an inkling of pre-thought.

To me it seems as the viral kings of the Holy Roman Empire are still with us and until the sponge forms complete and is dominant, it will continue to erode and decompose the newest and most interesting vector of life itself.

The useful and optimum cell type in an organism is immortal in its way, preserved forever as the foundation of life. A cell of the bones is common to all vertebrate life and is certainly immortal in that aspect as it is inherent to the being that it creates. It is correct, IMHO . I think there are some very interesting things to come and what would be the nature of it? It seems I have caught a glimpse.

Dream walk in the seventh mind

It is obvious that something is about to happen. A pregnant world culture bearing the seed pod of realization. Will it be the first chicken or just another dinosaur egg? (ADDED: I realized that the chicken could come first if it did not come from an egg, but was from a kangaroo. Now I am wondering about ovum=egg.)

The integration of new knowledge gleaned from so many available sources is starting to become coherent for me at least. Like a child that discovers gravity from their high chair and marvels each time they push the dinner bowl off, and watch it hit the floor. Give me more pudding, I need to examine this force some more.

There are so many things that are and few that are realized. Once it is understood it only requires a quick turn to glimpse the glimmer between the edges of the political polygon that envelops the endless mind.

It seems to me that a person is made of many types of minds and can you answer whether each can be autonomous and self realized in the same space? If I had several computers wired in such a way that the bus interconnects between the CPU and the rest of the system were tangled in an access panel, such that it could not be separated without cutting the wires, what computer would be there? The dolphin wishes to live on the shore so it may come to rest and dream.

It may be as simple as looking at that which is naught divided by naught. Division or partitioning a segment into parts of a specific length when the length is not specified to exist. It seems to me it wouldn't be NaN, but sawing without a saw. It seems a bit comical that a mathematical system is designed to be so logical and it includes procedures and results that are as silly as: saw the wood with this imaginary saw and tell me the result.

I found this which was a great place to visit long ago (1995) and I remember the removal and how sad I was, I am glad it is back in some form anyway.

Star Trick the nth generation

I had occasion to consider teleport again when I read an article at Slashdot about making ice freeze by heating it in electrical fields [ Oh BTW, excuse me Cmdr Taco as I took liberties with the SQL :), I just wanted to see what would happen if I teleported different SQL into that link.. ]. It seems that the idealized concept of the technology suffers from the nature of cinema itself. It is a Disneyland concept of what happens in reality. Genetics engineering does not just produce new cures for disease and longevity, it is also used to create super soldiers with genetic kill switches.

How odd is it, that if you have a technology in Star Trek that moves matter from one place to another and it can materialize matter inside other matter, that it would not be used to teleport a cup of "Earl Gray" into somebodies skull, thus adversely affecting their cognitive skills? Or even teleporting a teleporter into a teleporter. The types and range of perverse application would be incomprehensible. I watch the TV show "Fringe" on occasion and though most is pure fantasy designed to support the emotional framework of the art, there are glimmers of some things which might soon be possible.

What is also odd is that billions of dollars are spent to create elaborate delusions of science and little real advanced science is done. Microsoft spends billions on advertising , which must be effective since it is done, instead of having a real product. It seems that people would rather accept a projected delusion than seek a reality which might encompass some work or negative effects. Reality is the harshest mistress.

DNA Operating Sytem BIOS

In order to make a complete DNA operating system it is most efficient to use a structure that is an interpreted build language with primitives. By using the interpreter as its own compiler the process progresses logically and corresponds much better with the optimized capabilities of the machine. When asking for a list insert, canned code can be used as long as the user applies the function by name and it avoids the use of library structure which can be cumbersome.

The machine code in this case is a string of DNA which is 'compiled' by the biological system. An example would be a function 'f' with a variable 'x'. This would encode the initiator for the function 'f' as it translates from DNA, to mRNA to Amino Acids. The object or variable is a string, as all things in the system. The function itself is a string and it might be defined as "(define (SearchDNA x) ("GCATGTACTGA" x) ) in a scheme like syntax.

A "TRUE" is the product of the search which promotes a DNA sequence that encode A or B which either activates by induction the TRUE path or the FALSE path.

The compiler can be of several constructions I have seen in the lab. There are some nanomachines that use template DNA bonding on shape and this is feasible, but I know someone who does both cloning and nanomachines for a National lab and their approach is much cleaner and more natural as it uses nano to instantiate DNA that ultimately does the work.

The key element is a DNA sequence that accepts input from an external system to extend its own DNA. The rest is a matter of understanding the parallel aspects and the "hardware" on which it is implemented. The wide range of hardware that Linux is implemented on is nothing to what exists in the world. Each cell type is its own platform and as such each system has a uniques infinite response to changes in is "microcode". Having done initial development for the first PCs and having designed microprocessors from scratch, it is a similar issue. In this case however the designs have already been instantiated as Proofs of Concept. It is simply a matter of altering their BIOS to act in a way that is a bit more effective for survival and utility.

The methods are well beyond parallel in their complexity. Parallel methods do not isolate well in the universe. Many factors influence the overall process, such as number of active sites, competition for base pairs, availability of ATP, transient pairing of similar promoters, kinetics, and a vast array of other complicating factors.

A system is established to mimic the behavior and thus continuously interpolate to the best model. Digital logic can't reach the level of granularity that corresponds to a physical system and so it serves as a general estimate of what methods might be applied, without testing in a physical framework.

It is only this infinite soft&hard-ware that can understand its own complexity. It can be vastly parallel and functions in certain aspects to compute at the lowest possible incremental state of the universe, which would correspond in type to a virtually infinite word width computer.

Cloning an organism with new and altered DNA is common place in many junior highs now.

People once rode horses, and they produce no Hydrofluoric Acid as a by product of their manufacture.

The first task is to assign meaningful mnemonics for the language. I feel that if I can establish a language that has two personalities that would be best. For instance I could write and compile the program as "concat string1 string2 at L" or I could use an more elegant sentence as "Add the sequence called string1 to the left end of the sequence called string2". I can use a pre compiler to convert forward and back to a more understandable code template.

The simplest system might be comparable to a Yeast hybrid that uses something like this to instantiate an IF THEN or non-inverting or inverting gate. I have done this in the lab with GAL and I am sure the implications were lost on my instructor ( In fact I am sure of that. Few polymaths exist in such complex fields. Many scientists cannot program or design hardware.) I was very happy to see that I could implement an inverting and gate in the model organism and that it bred true to be a rather large NAND gate array, but then we must start at microns to get at Angstroms. I took some liberties with the experiment to prove that it was in fact a functioning computer and though the cycle time is limited, it expands in three dimensions without manufacturing cost and functions in parallel at the atomic level. Joking: The manufacturing costs are the killer though and this is the great expense, you need sugar and that is regulated by the FDA as a toxic chemical.

The use of TAQ and restriction enzymes serve as a model of the process, but are cumbersome. The BPU ( Biological Processing Unit ) must have within its instruction set the tools to splice, insert, and remove. Many of the concepts of digital logic apply in some form or another. It is possible to have deadly embrace as easily in a DNA system as it is in a code Lock semaphore. In fact, deadly embrace is a necessary aspect of the effective living BPU.

So the primitives are:

  1. cut DNA @
  2. couple DNA all
  3. create DNA string
  4. delete DNA string
  5. insert DNA string @
  6. transcribe DNA @

It would seem that a very limited set of primitives would compose the OS core as the objects are themselves methods and functions. Every object in a cell system is also a method. The composite function is determined by the order of execution. The programmed cell would differ from a living cell in the fact that it would have the ability to mutate itself in a continual fashion. It might seem like a dangerous process, but life is not an easy thing to implement in dominance. The players in this game have been around for billions of years and they know tricks that we are likely never going to understand. I can see patterns in things which tell me that many persistent organisms will operate in ways that seem illogical in order to place themselves in a survivable niche in the grand billion year scheme of things.

The Frankenstein principle of pulling a brain from one organism and implanting it then shocking it to life is so naive. I am sure that throughout history people have said they are moments from total understanding and that is the arrogance of life speaking. I do remember in the 1960's when it was assumed that all disease would be cured by miracle drugs like penicillin.

Life is not fragile, it has survived ice ages, super volcanoes, asteroids, earthquakes, and even humanity.

Natural dangerous organisms have a place in life. The overall result of the process is an interaction that compounds infinity on a 1040 framework over 4 billion years. It is fantastically intricate and in its detail almost impossible to believe. A single celled protozoa is vastly more complex than the most advanced super computer.

Having studied medicine, pharmacology, microbiology and genetics I have been exposed to many facts. The common impression of what is taking place is way off the mark and I would hesitate to discuss some of what I know, because it would probably disturb many people. What is going on in biology is nothing like what people imagine and the very nature of life is different than many suspect. My opinion is that philosophy must come from an understanding of the universe.

I assume most people have an idealized view of their existence that is almost cartoonish in its simplicity. Complex multi-cellular life functions more like a complex universe than a being. Many people expound on philosophy and existentialism, but I would guess from my perspective that they are reasoning from limited information and inappropriately extrapolating based on principles which do not exist.

( Not ( Accepting ( Infinity - x ) ( AI ) ) )

In the course at the link from Berkeley computer science about scheme, it is not as elegant as other courses in Lisp like languages ( most I have seen at MIT and Stanford ), but I feel it gets to the heart of the matter and I will attempt to dig deep and find reason here.

A language such as this defines functions which have data. Essentially it is f(x), where x is anything and f is a method. I could implement this as push x, call f, and that would be it. I can interpret the language any way I want. I can parse from "(" to ")" and select element 1 as function and then push push the rest. I compare syntax and then generate a function call corresponding to my interpretation of syntax. At its most basic level it is an operation on registers when dealing with CPU functions and I could assign opcode xx to be "mov" or "add" or "xor" or even "doodoo" if I wanted. The mnemonics and symbolism are unimportant.

If you start with infinites and then focus on partial infinites then you have a system of math and logic which is provable and complete. A person can device any number of circularly perfect systems and religion is one of those. I can start by asking you to assume one fact and then based on an assumption devise a complete system. That is an unfounded logic system and the system of math is an unfounded system. I am asked to assume 1 (one) and I cannot accept that, as odd as that seems.

The proof of pudding is in eating and the proof of a proper system is in its foundation in the universe. In the biological system it is a complex of infinities and each part affects every other part. I could be true that the structure which defines the hand could influence the nature of the brain. It is a system without limit and it is true that seemingly unrelated elements of a person's physical whole influence certain "metaphysical" aspects. A dog may not bark by design, but by his paws.

I am sure that is as clear as mud, but I hope to relate some example methods and systems that make the concept clearer.

Debian has a package for scheme called "mit-scheme" and it executes at command line with the command `scheme`. I suppose that the failure to use arrow keys is some compatibility issue and I can live with that.

Interlude: Interview with a Steganosaurus

There was a Black Widow spider hiding in the shelf and it came out to bite my pet hamster. The hamster and spider were reconstructed from their DNA and the same thing happened again.

Walking in the park, the day is cloudy and overcast, but clearly there is a frog in the partial differential tree matrix on top of the apple there, it is unmistakable, certain. Newton walked by and remarked that the apple does not fall far from the frog and perhaps there is a relationship there.

The compiler was written by an intelligent code generator and uses a map to point a variety of concepts at process.

You only encrypt the ones you love.

Omni potent matter

I was considering the construction of matter which would be very strong in comparison to matter which is bonded with a "covalent" bond. In considering the properties, this would not be something you would want to exist any where near regular biological matter. I would guess it would be omni-toxic and would make PCBs and Phosgene COCl2 seem like candy.

I have worked with Hydrofluoric acid and cyanide and many different chemicals when doing industrial process control and many of the things are quite toxic. I doubt that the LHC would produce some of this exotic matter as it would require some very odd coincidence to be generated by the process. It is on the order of factorial goats teleported

At first glance it would seem that if there were a way to make an armor which withstood a direct hit from a two stage Lithium-Deuteride fission-fusion weapon, that this would be something to make. I would guess that if a government knew how to make this it would be made in beaucoup "bookooo" quantity and to hell with the ultimate consequence. I think the ultimate consequence in this case could be omnicide or a complete end of all biological life. I doubt that would deter someone who loves power and it is one of those things where my opinion is that we need to get rid of these pseudo ( or real ) monarchs and have a better life. I saw something by Feynman and it was quite odd as he was saying something similar. It seems that this hangover from the Pharaohs, Holy Rome, Feudalism, Kings, religious Pontiffs and such is a bad attribute to support.

They didn't see it coming

Recently I considered the further consequences of a universal equation and I am near to having a complete interactive process. The thing is that "Technological Singularity", which I think is hokum now, is just a way of saying that things will change and of course they always change and that is life. People build on what is known and create in the unknown. It is reasonable to assume that I will be able to eventually produce a material like "Scrith". It is also possible to make superconducting materials that function at room temperatures. It is so common that I respond before people think it, "You could make a fortune!", how often do I hear that. The money has no value except as it is backed by power, DUH! So what I am saying is that you could give me 100 billion pieces of paper backed by a failed empire and it would be as useful as toilet paper.

I have roughed out the designs for many different parts of what I consider the key technologies to establish and maintain a "Galaxy" class civilization and though many like the idea of science fiction and the future, few really achieve any tangible effect. They become lost in the fantasy of it and lose the reality. The reality is a f4d up mess of pain and lost time and life. It requires a dedication that eats a person's every moment and consumes their personal life.

  1. Ability to bond atoms with a field device
  2. Material strong enough to resist nuclear explosion
  3. Ambient temperature superconducting
  4. Understanding of gravity
  5. Control of living cell process
  6. Effectively infinite word width computing
  7. Remote manipulation
  8. Communications network
  9. Usable human interface to the technology
  10. Control structure

I probably should do this in Quantas and put it up, but these may be my last posts.

So what happens next? IDK. I just discovered something very odd about atomic structure and if I didn't know that it was happening, I would say it was impossible. The structure of matter is far odder than it is given credit. It is after all the interaction of factorial infinites and as such can do things that defy the imagination. It is not reasonable for me to assume that I understand even a tiny bit of the overall process. I know enough to say that even this list here is nothing compared to what may come. It is not possible to even guess what might happen without some suggestion or clue as to where to look in the infinite possibilities.

Doesn't it make a person wonder? There are 54 fictional super metals on Wikipedia and how many real ones are in production or design?

I can't see the unknown anymore than anybody else. I can see other people's unknown and they can see mine, but there is no way to see what is not seen. So I continue on the way to infinity with a watchful eye for the black swan and try to avoid Pandora's blade.

So this is what I see from where I stand and that is all there is to it. A gamma ray burst could burn us all to cinders tomorrow and yet copyrights on the end of everything would persist for 70 years, at least something would survive, even if it is imaginary.

Artificial Infinity (AI)

I am attempting to correlate various things today to resolve some logical issues.

  • Linear congruence
  • GCF greatest common factor
  • digitally generated random numbers
  • security of randomness
  • profiling randomness
  • infinite randoms in the physical world
  • Mersenne twister
  • Definition of paradox
  • infinites as it relates to logical paradox
  • hash functions
  • mixing trees, matrices and hash
  • DNA sequence analysis
  • (pseudo) derivatives and integrals of methods
  • designing computer language interpreters and compilers
  • DNA as a computer

I will fill this post out with what I discover. I have gone through these concepts several times and have a vague feeling that there is a relationship I am missing there that may be useful. I will fill the links to relevant articles as I discover the relationships.

With respect to this when I programmed in assembly and wished to have a random value I would interact counters which used separate crystals and use the thermal drift of the crystal oscillator to get a number that was dependent on the interactive fluctuations of oscillators. It is more like an infinitely variable commodity, but then it is used digitally and so it becomes an integer. I think I cannot really compute properly until I have a complete infinite logic based computer.

Many, if not all of these things are artifacts of the choice of symbolic system that is math itself. If I start with a system that defines identity and proceeds from there it is not the appropriate symbol set to describe the universe or its relationships. My hope is to devise a system which derives from the nature of the universe and would encompass the existing math and resolve the paradox. It seems logical to me that if a system fails to be complete in some aspect it must be extended. As I always do, I will add more complexity in the hopes of making things more coherent.

Thus this list may grow as do many of my posts, Auf der Weise zur Unbegrenztheit.

The path of life

This article at slash dot is in the ball park of a molecular constructor and it isn't what I am working on, but this is an example of duplicate solutions. It is interesting and I intend to see how they are doing this. I understand the atom at the level of the nucleus and it isn't necessary to manipulate these things mechanically, though it is a cool concept. I have looked at this stuff before and I did something similar to this in the early 90's and decided against spending a lot of time with it. There are several paths to self replication.

I have read many things that speculate on the evolution of life and am less than excited about their idea of what future holds. The idea of consciousness in a digital computer is a joke and is nothing more than an ornate tombstone. The process of AI and robots has been toward a more and more life-like puppet and is not really life like at all.

In order to be life it must be self replicating and that is more of a definition than it can solve tic-tac-toe or mimic every activity of a person. I can see a path of life that is very unusual and self replicating and extensible in its form. It is my opinion that life is more or less strange loops that have more or less complexity depending on the environment. The ability to form matter at the atomic level is one of those things that is very much a strange loop. It is definitely a system that can self replicate and evolve from that premise. I consider that the first strange loops like an amino acid sequence that breaks or makes amino acid bonds to be a major leap in loops, but it doesn't stay that way long and it develops higher complexity quite quickly.

I also see that life will ebb and flow and since it is so chaotic it sometimes does not recurse things that are the primary node.

It is my opinion that they are speaking from emotional logic and not universal logic when they consider the path of life. A device which can create itself by bonding atoms and has a means to select what changes it might incorporate, would evolve very rapidly in my opinion. Sometimes it isn't possible to control or project what we intend because our vision is limited. My children are nothing like me and so life isn't about cloning yourself forever, in fact, that is just another name for death IMHO.

I was planning on using nanotechnology to implement the interface from a constructive model to matter and I have a better technique now. It is less convoluted and its implementation is reasonably simple, as opposed to a complex system of methods and parts which requires a complexity so high that the base structure is less likely to be stable on replication. The idea of a catalyst that catalyzes itself in the proper environment is more of a sequence than a computer driven system that requires so many different parts it cannot reconstruct itself without an entire culture and society. So antfarmgl has incorporated a new tool and this is why I have to continually recurse development as it isn't possible to see which methods are best for a specific goal without trying them out. In this case it was not available when I started and it makes no sense to do it in a contrived way if there is an easy way.

Drug companies and many genetics companies and in fact almost everybody hides their developments in order to have advantage over others. That is one of those things where people help themselves by shooting themselves in the foot. The idea of open technology is to allow for the factorial expansion of ideas and once somebody finds a key and then attempts to own one of the obvious pathways to a solution, they act like a biological poison to the process. The concept of owning ideas is so badly thought out that it is incredulous.

I intend to release antfarmgl and it will be able to take a pdb file and generate that protein or in fact any other chemical and as such will produce chemicals and systems which are owned by others. In the process it will create chemicals and methods which are far beyond that process and if somebody is allowed to own the rights to the Carbon atom and use the military to enforce that right, they are really just a thug. They are a government sponsored and endorsed thug, but still a thug. The ownership of ideas and art is a sticky wicket and I can see that people like to gain from what they do. The problem is one of cooperation and in complete cooperation everyone gains, but that is not likely. I have no answer for greed and the hunger for power.

The system of existing biological life could possibly be maintained indefinitely through the use of this technology, but to what end? It seems more like keeping a relic of the past than life. Life changes and advances and so it is always different. You can't be the same and deal with that which is new, so the idea of self is an emotion and not a rational impulse. I know that everything in the universe is infinite in its interaction and as such the idea of "1" is a fallacy created by pure imagination. No man is an island, in fact no thing is even a perfect isolate.

The existential argument may be far too painful for some and I can understand this as it is also dissonant to my own emotional reasoning. It does not make it any less true, but it does make it one of those things that people would rather ignore as it gives them and me a headache. There is an existence, but it is more of a bird traveling to a distant island than a statue of a bird cast in indestructible materials. One is monument to life, the other is life.

Just my opinion at the moment. (Ch) Changeright 2010 moteyalpha , All my ideas are subject to change without notice.

It won't be long before yesterday

I have noticed that some of my inventions from years ago are being created and though they are probably very futuristic to most, they are old ideas for me. Many are interim solutions and I rejected them in favor of better solutions. I see they have a concept for delivering dead things to space cheaply and that I already knew how to do. After that I discovered how to cancel inertia and so I knew how to deliver live things to space cheaply. Later I discovered teleput[sic] and it obsoletes those things. I have no idea how soon inertial canceling will be discovered, but I assume it will be eventually. A year , a month, ten years. It varies with the invention and duplication is almost certain. I discovered something beyond teleput, so there are new things always to be discovered.

It puts an edge on things as it really won't be long before what I know can be, will be the present, and then it will be a real mess because nobody will have considered what happens if it works. That is what I worry about. The world is not ready for some of the things which are now becoming possible. It actually scares me a bit.

All of these new things are unusual and somehow the human race manages to survive. There is no way for me to know how it will turn out, but it is bound to be a wild ride. It really won't be long now. I do wonder about the equation of the universe as it is not that easy to duplicate and would require a fairly large leap for someone committed to existing science. I have no way to know what actually goes on in the minds of 6 billion people.

I used to worry, but what can I do, I don't make it happen, I just know it is going to happen because I have already looked there. I just wish it was longer before people catch up. It used to be a decade or more and now it seems to be weeks and months. I suppose it is just the rate of change accelerating. There are 20 times as many people as there were in the Middle Ages, I think. One would think there might on average be 20 Da Vinci and Newtons and what would it mean for them to interact in a factorial manner at the speed of light. It boggles the mind.

20! = 2.43290200817664 x 1018

ADDED: I looked around a bit on the web and I haven't done this in a while because I was busy extending this equation and considering the consequence. It is my estimation that "teleput" technology could become possible and public any time. I was looking at the Google fiasco and IE hacking 0-day exploit and once these things are out of the box it is very difficult to get all the wild cats to cooperate and put the future back into the NULL space. You might say that nothing will come of it, but that is a bit naive as it is human nature to use what can be achieved and if there is advantage, it will be taken.

I would have guessed that somebody would have taken a slow approach to automated weapon systems as it is a dangerous leap toward Berserkers. It seems to me that though one of these things might be manageable in its consequences, the number of new things that are being created causes an interaction and a tension that is not wise to create IMHO. Any one of the new technologies could punch a hole in the normal application of power structure and then chaos ensues. I am sure it falls on deaf ears, but "beware the Ides of March".

I know that very few people read my blog and many are just people who got the wrong address when wandering about the net and are gone in an instant. That does not change the fact that I am not the only one who understands what is happening and it is obvious that many people are aware of the rising tide of technology and what consequence it has. I say that landfall has been made and now the eye cometh with ever increasing fury. I sympathize with the people in Haiti and the destruction is horrific and the human toll is beyond comprehension.

It has a parallel in this as obviously somebody knows that tidal waves, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, volcanoes, and other calamities can happen, but there is no one considering what happens if? Even as I blog this a super volcano sits waiting in the northwest and it isn't an issue of IF, but when. I can't say about volcanoes and when that chaos could be released, but I can be reasonably certain about technology and the ground is moving, dust is in the air, it is getting hotter and there are some load noises, my best guess is by the time WebGL is fully implemented, the Werecats will be out of the bag and then it is too late to wonder why you didn't save your SSH keys before you upgraded or moved your system. I had no idea the word "Werecats" had ever been used and so I decided to Google and there it is. It is difficult to come up with things that are truly new, because first of all it must be understandable and this means it comes from what is and is an extension, so it is like an advancing front and it isn't too difficult to devise an algorithm that projects that.

Whatever it is called, the consequence is soon to hit the proverbial fan and I for one welcome our new Chaos overlords. I always wear my tinfoil hat at least 10 minutes everyday and this way I can cover all the bases, later I will put up shades to block the reflection of an evil eye.

Visual Neural Networks

This video about VisANT is where I start and I am integrating this knowledge with my other tools today. The image is from the software and this should look familiar to someone who is following the progress of antfarmgl. I have a distinct advantage over the implementers of this software as I can view molecules interacting at the atomic level and I have the equation of state for the universe and can predict the interaction of specific molecules precisely. This does not change the need to have a way to search analyze and predict using this information.

The code is Java and I assume open source, but I will see as I get the off line application. I already have a network tool, visualization tool and methods to analyze these interactions using various topological, statistical and logical methods. What I hope to gain is the method of interaction with the experimental data base of experiments already completed to verify that my application of the universal equation is correct.

The situation has become far too complex to simple state the relationships between what I learn, apply and extend. This is why I need WebGL and from there, WebAI. I would implement Alice Infinity as an interacting object, however without a WebGL framework it is a custom implementation and requires far too much work to maintain for the multitude of possible configurations. That must be done at the standards level and so I wait for WebGL to be commonly available.

Recent Java experience should help me make short work of this software and I can begin testing the data against a real experimental framework for verification.

If the software turns out to be proprietary I will drop it and give the task to my elvi.

This video is also interesting in this context and I gave up on VisANT as it is not well structured to be extensible and I have 99% of the stuff already and it is properly organized to port to Python, Java, WebGL and C, so I don't see any gain except the data base interaction and I will have fun figuring that out for myself.

Since I am also a programmer I can implement the methods which delay the process in assembly and include them as a linked or library function. I am using X86_64 and so this code is fairly (Well, actually deadly specific) specific to a machine architecture and would require some work to port properly to other architectures. It is just another tool in my toolbox and the synergy is where I gain the most. It is common knowledge in development that having 100 developers on a project probably slows the development more than it helps. I have developed many commercial softwares and I find that I can integrate a solution very quickly by myself with all the system knowledge, but it becomes unsupportable in practice.

Programming the lathe of life is a lofty goal, but what else is there to do? I already know the cake is a lie. And maybe the lie is a lie?

I modified the code for the blog XML to include this :
( recursive self reference element )

.post pre { background: #dddded }

Which implements this style which I have decided I will use.

<style type="text/css">pre {background: #dddded}</style>

Implemented in the blog post with this structure.

<pre> <blockquote> Something preformatted with a border. </blockquote> </pre>

Perhaps I can do something more entertaining and implement an EPR gun that allows me to move from one protein interaction network to another through a generated worm hole in the fabric of logic. Might keep me from falling asleep in molecular genetics class.

Maybe the cup cake is a lie too?.

The problem with Infinity

-Lecture number five of 6.00 at MIT open courses tells the whole story of why I understand and accept that no digital computer or analog computer will ever make a dent in the computation of the universe or be a device which could do such a strange thing as "upload consciousness". I knew long ago that the math and computers are not up to the task and in fact it hinders the understanding of the universe. I previously had no idea that I could actually implement an infinite math computer and so it was just something to live with. Now that I understand the equation of state of the universe it begins to give insights in how to apply it to create new devices. The logical path is to create a computer which can really model the universe and simulate human neural activity. The universe is an interaction of infinities and it can't be modeled any other way. AFAIK.

Tearing down everything and starting again is what I see as the only way to get an effective end product. If I were perfect and could devise a method that encompassed my goal in a single pass, I would be some valuable commodity, but I can't. I build what I think will do the job, try it out, learn what is needed next and strip it down and reform it until it is complete.

This is how I approach science also. If these guys like Archimedes and Newton and such could come up with a perfect concept cold they would have to be fairly major gods, but they aren't. It isn't easy work, but it is never perfect.

I sympathize with Archimedes, at least in what I understand of him, as he supposedly died trying to get that next thing and this is it, even if you die trying, you have to rip it down and start again and perhaps it will all come together, IDK, that is the future and it can't be predicted.

That lecture also explains some of the rather odd behavior that some programs exhibit. I think Linus was very wise to keep IEEE FP out of the core. Python longs are an interesting thing too. I watched lecture 3 there and saw immediately that no one caught on to the corner case and it screamed at me, "That program will fail intermittently". I see it all the time, that "Black Swan" and the corner case of darkness haunt me as badly as the Werecats.

Information handling in high dimensions

I am studying how to apply new techniques in information handling. I think that te methods that exist are weak and start with certainty and hope to extend certainty into new areas and I have found that I have better luck by starting with uncertainty and focusing inward. This video at Google Talks is about low dimension manifolds and though it might be considered complex, I also see it as too simplistic to resolve the problems. I have found that by mixing technology and concepts it can be easier to come to a result that is simply a weighted answer, not complete or decisive, but just adequate. I use Fourier analysis in images with generative techniques. For recognition of dimensional relationships it serves well. The base object is the vector distance relationships and whatever projected manifold has a degree of certainty associated with it based on the use cases that it encounters. Put simply, in context it is possible to resolve images and relationships, but without a limiting context, the information is ambiguous. It does relate to the puzzle and decision trees and high space dimensions. I continue to collect the data portals that can be analyzed and here is one interesting place to get add-ons for `celestia` to observe the entire universe or even imaginary worlds of science fiction.

The process of integration of all this technology from WebGL, `java`, OpenGL, models, `makehuman`, `blender`, Python, Javascript, game theory, trees, DNA HOX, genotyping, protein pathway analysis, physics of the atom and many more, to antfarmgl is proceeding, but the coherence is the key. Once the coherent framework becomes evident it is simply a matter of getting all the pieces in the right place to be usable.

I am sticking with C as the base code and interfacing to shell, java, and other necessary modules. I need to understand the interface as well as the material that moves through it. That Java code tutorial was really scary as the innards of JLS need to be used with a knowledge of what the underlying method actually implements. With C, I already do that. When I create a new module for myself I go down to the ASM language level and model it for myself. I know what the hardware does and there are no surprises on integer add, or floating point operation. I suppose the state of the FPU across several concurrent tasks can be a bit spooky, but I have dealt with that also.

Really new math

So it is as I suspected. I had a sense that the very nature of math and how it has evolved was flawed in its definition. When a system is devised to comply with a process and the process is not understood, any method is as good as any other. Scientists once believed that all matter was composed of Air, Earth, Fire, and Water and that people were ruled by the position of the stars in relationship to the translation, rotation and revolution of the Earth with respect to them. Some even believed in spontaneous generation of life. I assume that very few people would still accept that scientific perspective. Sometimes when I create code, I realize that I have started with a concept that can't work with the goals I have set for the software or new information is revealed in the creation itself. It is then necessary to take what you can from the work that has been done and start all over again.

So I am devising a math that models the universe as I understand it. Basically a shorthand rule set and principles that can be applied by an infine ( new name to imply infinite integer length ) computer. Some of the principles came clear when considering the representation of numbers and I have no complete idea of how this will end, I will just try it and see if it works.

I think that the first step is just adding two infines.
A[1][1:∞][1:5]+B[1][1:∞][1:5]=C[2][1:∞][1:5].
It may seem overly complicated, but the universe is complex and describing it is bound to also be a complex descriptor. While I am at it, I might as well clean out some of the ambiguity and symbol overloading. I would think that NaN certainly would not actually be a number. :)

It isn't as bad as it looks and in fact I like this concept as it has already yielded some results. Using the right method makes things much clearer.

Physical chemistry

The idea is not new and I have read several books at the university library on the physics of chemical bonding and I am not the only one who suspected that the description and application is poorly understood and badly implemented. Chemistry is a science that depends heavily on example and experimentation to identify process. No coherent theory of how bonds are made and broken has ever been devised which explains the overall action.

Theories describe the action in vague relationships that defy extrapolation. I have come to understand that underlying method of bonding. What takes places is obviously electrical in nature, but without an understanding of the nucleus, the nature of gravity and some understanding of higher dimensions it probably just looks like an amorphous complex of action without coherence. The idea that it can be completely characterized by probability mechanisms is absurd, but that it could be characterized without probabilistic elements is equally absurd.

For myself, I consider it no more complex than using a library function and understanding the interface well enough to apply that knowledge to achieve a specific result. For any specific application there are skills and information that need to be absorbed and understood. I have studied many things and the concept of n-Dimensional space as it applies to the understanding of electrical field action is certainly the most difficult to understand and apply. The mind is not well suited to grasp dimensional information beyond the 4 that it commonly manages.

Much like gravity, the bond between atoms and molecules is one of the ubiquitous elements of the universe and its understanding is key to any effective science. Certainly most if not all of chemistry is process based and this seems like an extension of alchemy as it originated. I kind of random application of experimentation until a specific condition produces a consistent usable result. Science in the gross aspects, much like melting metal and hoping the bonds form in the way you wish. The universe has no parallel to the construction of bonding by specific technique and this is because the condition which would allow this are not only improbable to occur naturally, but I assume virtually impossible. Like, on the order of 10-billion that it would happen as a combination of events once for one single bond. It would require a random event that would rival the appearance of a 747 from thin air with a plane load of passengers.

As a random event it would be odd, as a mechanism it is quite simple. Okay, n-Space, electrical fields, probability relations, atomic scale observation, and nuclear physics, are probably not simple things to most, but I mean relatively simple if you grasp the basic concepts of the universe.

I did commercial chemistry when I was still in my teens and I can relate to not understanding what it all means. It is a confusing tangle of data that I saw as something like a Rubik's cube puzzle with 10 trillion faces and 100 dimensions of rotation. I can remember trying to understand it and sitting for days in a row studying the Handbook of Chemistry and Physics and attempting to get even a glimpse of a pattern. I can remember being physically sick as it was so complex and failing to understand things seriously disturbs me.

When the future is now

I have been investigating this technology of teleput and it is not a single function thing. The techniques can be applied in many ways and I force myself to think what the "Master" would do with the device and I see that it serves as well in other capacities. I could be used to dissolve molecular bonds and make something dust. I could be used to induce fusion in any material. It could be used to simply break a planar sequence of bonds. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. And you might ask how such a device would get the energy to do all this at a remote place? If you were moteyalpha, you would have already leaped to the recursion that if it can induce fusion, it can be driven by its own effect. I doubt that it will lead to people driving around cars that have the "Mr Fusion" trademark like "Back to the Future".

I considered what technology does and what types of changes can have disastrous consequence. It is not the technology, but human nature that is the risk. Many a story has been written about this fact and actually that is what fiction is all about. Many a story of ultimate weapon has circulated since the dawn of recorded history and many would like you to believe that they have a secret power like this hidden away, but it is a lie, because the technology creates such power that the power over others is nothing in comparison.

It reminds me of a western I saw when I was young and I don't recall the name, but the plot is that somebody gets their hands on a Gatling gun and proceeds to reek havoc across the west. Technology can come up with some black swans now and again and these are the nastiest things to deal with. I don't make the universe and I take no blame for what is possible, just because I figure it out first. If it were the Middle Ages and I designed a laser weapon, it would have less consequence than this.

These things creep upon us and the fact that AI is exceeding human capability in many areas is even more scary from an existential perspective. How do I feel about myself when my computer corrects me at every step?

I only ring the bell of the future, it will toll in its own time, but beware the "Jackal of Time" personified by the "Master Time Lord", as he has many lessons we must learn in order to survive his madness. I steeled myself against the madness of power long ago and if it were not so the ideas could make a person mad with power and that is the danger. Some cannot resist the lure of power and they crave it as a drug and will do anything for it.

Doesn't make any sense at all

I was looking around the web and I see many things and places where they offer prizes for advancement in technology. I wonder if anybody thinks about what happens if it is true? There have been a lot of screwy and ludicrous attempts to neutralize gravity and they seem to always follow the same pattern, some monumentally expensive and convolved thing that needs more money continually. I think I see a pattern and it is called scam.

Consider if a device such as the transporter were made. Considering human nature, the first things that would happen is that some perv would teleport to bathrooms, crooks would teleport into Fort Knox, spies would teleport to secret facilities, assassins would teleport into the office of the ruler, people would teleport stalk. It is just ridiculous. I don't think that anybody considers the real consequence of changing technology.

Consider for a moment what happens next. I am aware of many new things which are possible and this is what I consider when I make something. How can it be applied. The mobile phone, GPS, and the internet have made a serious tangle of unexpected consequence. Some good , a lot bad ( IMHO ). These are not massively futuristic things. The ability to transform matter at will is one of those technologies that has serious implications and I hesitate to even discuss some of them. It is absurd to offer a million dollar prize, or even a trillion dollar prize for a technology that could generate unlimited result or gain to an individual.

I can't teleport, but I do understand "teleput" and even that limited thing has consequences that I can hardly even guess. The world is not designed to deal with these types of changes and things. It is more like an episode of Twilight Zone played out in reality. It seems to be the consensus that if a new technology arrives it will be so complex that only some large organization could possible construct the device and thus could maintain a centralized power structure. That is rarely the case in history. People get their hands on stuff and then do what comes natural.

The time to consider what happens is before the thing is made, and that is sometimes difficult. I am sure that nobody realized what would come of the internet when it started. I am stunned myself. I wander about and learn new things all day and it is like a library that branches to infinity.

It must be considered, what happens next, what if, what if it succeeds? I am aware of some things which have succeeded and they continue to evolve consequence. There are now many genetically engineered "things" happening and I know this technology. It is in its infancy and as time progresses it becomes more effective. It will certainly be possible to identify the structure and expression of a single strand of DNA and then it will be possible to design an organism from scratch, which has the precise characteristics that a person would want. What would you make if it was as simple as dialing a phone? What then is your worth when a corporation or country can devise a slave race that conforms to its specifications and doesn't have any of those nasty instincts to be human?

The history of humanity is not one of sweetness and hearts, it is a tale of conflict, war, self indulgence, destruction, slavery, disease, horror, despotism, self delusion, torture, death, genocide, depravity, madness, religious fanatics, criminals, and dadaism. What would the human race do if it had something like the transporter from Star Trek? Does the expression, "Who transported that elephant into my living room?" sound reasonable? It is a strange world that comes knocking , rapping at the chamber door, quoth the Raven, forever more. Or perhaps it is more like "quoth the server 404". Google that.

I guess it comes down to this, if you are in a room with the richest man in the world and you are the only one with a gun , he will offer you everything for it and if you agree, he will say , "I didn't get rich by being stupid, give me the money back or I will shoot you."

A lively puzzle

So now I am deep in The Heart of Darkness and I am modifying everything in concert as a grand symphony to make the puzzle pieces be Amino Acids and to use the equation of state of the universe to determine if the puzzle pieces fit and in what 3 dimensional structure. The game constructs a puzzle of (n) amino acids at random at first, but later uses the data base of known amino sequences and generates a 3 dimensional result and then generates "hints" about structure which would allow a person to solve the protein. It solves the protein structure itself and from this generates the hints with some sense, I hope.

I am keeping an eye out to make it extensible in dimensions and viewable in many different ways. I am also considering that I will implement it as WebGL with javascript and so all the essential interfaces will have two or more personalities to deal with assembly for WebGl or stand alone application. I will also include the option of using non-standard amino acids that arise on occasion. I hope to discover one of the issues that bothers me and that is branched chain proteins and also a specific sequence that I think exists and is not really life, but is somewhere above prion and well below Mitochondrion. It is a hypothetical structure that I devised as a result of analyzing some atomic interaction of various atomic soups. This means I need to incorporate other atoms beside CNSHO and other molecules in the interaction with the proteins and of course Phosphorous, H2O , Fe, Ca, Na, and probably a few others too as time goes by.

I estimate it will require several months to get all this in a usable WebGL + javascript -and- local OpenGl + Xwindows form. By that time it will be spring and I also hope that WebGL will be usable by then as a standard in Firefox.

The entire assembly should provide the framework for a virtual world which is various types of cells or non-cells and allow travel inside the cell to view it as it operates in whatever time frame or scale is desired. Pretty much a virtual world, but with cell walls instead of concrete walls. I hope that it will explain some question that I have about PolyA tails, ubiquitin, walking molecules, other walking molecules, and ATP. Along with about a million other questions.

I hope the whole thing can be documented and written as meta-code generated from a single descriptor. It makes sense to me. Why send an image file when I can say "Use convert" or "Use ImageMagick" and "make image 512x512 color depth 8 with 6 dots on it evenly spaced in two columns as a png type image". Or I could just do that myself and send you 512x512x4 (4 million ) bytes in place of 40. It doesn't seem very efficient to me.

There is no need to have the kind of bandwidth that is generated by flash animations. Either give me the useless information or keep it to yourself, I don't care. They are sending millions of bytes of information in an attempt to influence my mind, that seems like trying to teleput into my head. If I wanted to teleput something into your head, and just did it without considering whether you wanted that in you head or not, wouldn't that be rude? The mind is something that can take that which is meta-physical and make it physical in the universe. That is a wonderful thing and I don't like people shoving random crap in my mind to make a buck.
