Pandora has come to dinner this evening

She brought her tool box and now Heaven&Hell will come to breakfast. To make my previous two posts more clear.... I have an interface I call α and in conjunction with the tools I have it can be made to produce β . β can combine with the second set of tools to make β. What this means is that I can produce a replicating device that can produce virtually anything and ITSELF. I think I was very clear in the process leading up to this point that this was the goal and so it is closer. I will try to sort the documentation and put it in some semblance of coherence and get all the associated scripts, Python, blender, XML, SVG, C, 3D diagrams and animations in blender. and other information up on the sourceforge site and wiki.

To make it even more clear, a µ-pipette is a structure made of a pliable plastic, a long chain polymer or even just a long chain hydrocarbon, if you catch my drift. In addition it might be some odd coincidence, but the associated information in the image and below is perhaps telling in some way.

Another kind of pipette, the Mohr pipette, has graduations that permit a range of volumes to be dispensed very easily, but somewhat less accurately. (The pipette at the bottom is a 10 mL Mohr pipette.) The operation of the Mohr pipette is very similar to that of the volumetric pipette, but, in addition to setting the initial volume, the final volume must also be set by stopping the fluid flow at the appropriate location. The volume dispensed is established by calculating the difference, much like the case when using a burette.

For some reason the name of that pipette seems familiar and I can't understand why. I suppose it will eventually come to me.

Pandora is scaring me again

I was thinking about the fact that people can develop whatever things they want to help themselves and mostly it gets usurped by others. It has been this way always. It is the fact that the more you collect, the more thugs you can hire and the more you gain power. It is very transparent in monarchies and drug cartels and less transparent in societies. It is very similar to how a virus uses the mechanism of a cell to promote its life path.

Pandora has suggested a solution and it is definitely possible, however Pandora has a way of being like an evil genie and giving you what you wish for and much more. The unintended consequence of all things is the problem. I will consider this and try to determine what strange trick is hidden in the answer.

Something I saw on the BBC news was one of the clearest examples of the consumption of few for many. A law here states that a person owns the water which can be pumped from their land. If you sit on an aquifer you can suck an entire state dry legally. So it means that a corporation can and does buy the rights from a single individual and rapes the resources of everybody else to the tune of several billion dollars a year. That buys a lot of thugs. It is very similar to oil. I am pretty sure that nobody had a hand in creating the oil in the earth and if you point in a certain direction, it is under everybody. I also saw a new oil technology and for some reason it made me a little uneasy. There is something on the edge of thought that I am not understanding at the moment, perhaps it will come to me. Helium in wells, alpha decay, oil is lighter than water,sand is SiO₂, C_(n)H_(2n+2), proton pump in mitochondria,F_M and lines of force,T^oK, differential pressure, micro gravity, electrostatic fields, phosphorous and calcium.

Oh well, it is still escaping me, perhaps another day.

I saw an interesting article on an actual fusion process that might be used by an individual, however it is not 'critical' ( E in < E out ). I will look at the process and see if I can see a way to make it practically critical.

Pandora potions

I ran into a technique that is so bad that I have decided to put the entire category in Pandora's cookbook. I don't see how I could experiment with it and not be killed in the process. Even if it could lead me to understand something, the result would hardly be useful if it was just a device in the hand of my corpse that killed everybody who approached to investigate. I could imagine that if I had the proper tools it would be possible to handle it and I will remember that this can occur naturally in certain odd lab situations and avoid it.

It is a bit odd that there is not a group or principle that guides people to allow them to share dangerous possibilities. It is the fact that if you say something is dangerous, the first thing that is made is a weapon to kill somebody anyway. It makes for a very dangerous potential when things that others should be aware of, must be hidden because exposing them produces the same or worse effect.
