Keeping too busy

I have been very busy with some new things in my personal life and so I am slow to blog. Lots of interesting things are going on in many areas of science. The most interesting to me is those things that involve gravity and the unification of all forces in a single framework. IMHO, this is the most important step that a world can take. It is the point between
A. Living on a rock exposed to volcanism, storms, meteors, GRBs, flares, CMEs (Coronal Mass ejections), and all the tidal and randomness in the universe and
B. Being able to control the systems that make life ( and society) so iffy and short.
