I am modifying this for red and black ants and super ants as they exist with multiple queens. I also have a test I wanted to try using Reimann integrals in n-Space. Boids and the blender animation are interesting. The implementation of boids by elsamuko is easy to modify and well programmed. There is an interesting intersect between genotype to phenotype and Reimann as well as swarm behaviour.

Interesting thought, is the internet starting to swarm, and is that what scares the governments so much? I saw some interesting things on emergent government and it seems that it would create a new informal structure. The parametrics are more complex than this, but I can see for myself that people with similar interest are likely to act in the same way, independent of any actual association.

The new rulers of reason

      I was thinking about bot nets and computation and I should have thought of this before. There are many people committed to free and open source software ( FOSS ) as the only realistic way to do computing science. I wonder if there would be a way to have a new style of network that was P2P and performed like folding@home to do some distributed computing in a new way.

      This is my idea. If I can make my machine mimic a complex of about 10,000 neurons and I have the address list of P2P UDP peers that is my associative connection then it would function like a neural array. In the UDP packet would simply be the nerve impulse that is connected to a neuron node. The complexity of connections and time depends on a person's connection speed, but I would think that this would function like a real learning brain.

      I discovered something about neural arrays that I have implemented myself and it seems to be correct and generate a self learning circuit. The ability to interact with a person also amplifies the array power. The arrays can be preloaded with the vast amount of information which already exists on the internet and could be tied in using "wget" protocols.

      This may be what somebody is trying to do with the bot net and if they succeed, it may not be a question of opportunity to do the sensible thing anymore, as the vast knowledge and computing power of the world may be in jeopardy of singular control. I wonder, would people rather wait to be owned or act to be free. The sad thing is that I suspect they will wait to be owned, as acting proactively is not the human race's strong suit.♥♠♣♦

Six days to Earth, Six days to death

      People think that the biggest botnet ever ( estimated at 12 million ) will trigger on April 1. I am not the originator of that piece of software and so I cannot say for sure, but I am a programmer. I would guess that whoever ( or perhaps group-wise whoever ) is responsible for the feeding and care of Mr Bot are far more creative than those who analyze it. I have had the chance to do some analysis of a few of the worms and viruses that have wandered the systems and I can say that there are some very bright self-taught computer scientists that should have been brought into the mainstream of the computer world.

      I am a proponent of P2P networks of personal computers to deal with some heavy issues. I estimate that

is the current possibility of the internet. 10²¹ teraflops flops ( flops="floating point operations per second" ) with 10⁹ connectivity at the speed of light, may not seem like much, (joke) but it could change the very nature of humanity in the blink of an eye. All it would really require is a consensus among people that they would try a composite P2P global system for a one time test and share in the results. It is my informed opinion that it is possible to make the network become an oracle which could answer many of the sticky problems that face the people of the world.

      If the person who is doing this is intending on using this net in that way, then it will become technically conscious and [people and governments] may find that they have lost the survival game and have become the weakest link by failing to cooperate for common goals. The computing power of a global net is beyond comprehension and failure to use it for those who support it with their consumption seems foolish to me.

      I have to agree with Wired and say that it probably is not doomsday, but just in case, I would like to introduce myself as a friend of our new botnet overlord
