Cantor and infinity

Now I understand why Cantor went mad. Interesting ideas that were antithetic or destructive to the normal human mind and unequivocally provable. It is difficult to predict what becomes of a species that cannot look in that place by biological design. It reminds me of the novel Dune and the condition of another Paul. It is hardly an ascension to Godhood, but it certainly is a place that no one dares to look. Hard to say what comes of that. I am beginning to have my doubts about P ≠ NP also. Somehow the mind is twisted in such a way that it can be induced to believe nearly anything that contravenes reality. It is a survival trait, but definitely is not a good template for a superior analytical engine.
