Content memory and programming

I believe I can create a content addressable memory system that works on light and organic compound interaction. Most people do not appreciate the capabilities of CAM. It functions in such a way as to select one of an unlimited size set based upon a parametric. The memory would be scalable at liquid levels to a single molecule, but I think that there is a possibility that it could be scaled to the neutron level, however it would require a new type of material that does not yet exist.

From the Book of All Good Bits.

The table was created with Quantas. The image was rendered in blender with a cone, 3 cubes, a plane with a circuit board texture, and a UV sphere. All the objects were "set smooth".

The circuit I designed was based on common knowledge to most biochemists. I saw something at Berkeley in the early 70's that attempted this with a completely different technique of holograms, but it never completely worked. The logic would be very energy efficient as it would produce almost no heat in operation, which means the cost per bit computation in terms of entropy would be very low.
