I have an interesting idea! I hate it when I get all these weird convoluted Java Scripts on pages and it stuns me how much data is wasted with massive conditionals and poorly written scripts. It is a risk also. I suggest that there should be an open source script repository that has high bandwidth like Google or some uninterested party like FSF, and all scripts can be placed there and referenced on the net and a single check could be performed in the browser. This would allow greater ability to cache, verify, compile, and would lead to better scripting and reduce the risk to a casual internet browser.
