I saw parts of a remake of "Frankenstein" and that is utterly stupid. It is like a "South Park" parody of science passed off as possible. It just looks stupid to treat the subject seriously in the context of today's science. A monster with a horribly disfigured face and a doctor that can't do facial reconstruction and plastic surgery. Duh!
Other things are bugging me too. I saw part of an old Dr Who episode and they have the Queen of England, ninjas ( doing physically impossible acts (Matrix) (Big Trouble in Little China)), werewolves, time travel, and secret societies all bundled in one episode that is more cartoon than science fiction. I almost expected Scooby Doo to appear in either one of these shows that should just be cartoons.
