The Internet acts like a pointer in many aspects and these images from Stanford CS represent *Stanford and I can also reference the CS library. The problem is that it is a pointer and the Internet is based on HTML which uses URLs, which are a type of pointer. I would guess that Google has a 404 map somewhere that tells them how many times Binky gets his head blown off as they create a tree of the Internet.
