This article at /. reminded me of the movie Alien Resurrection. There has been a project to create a human brain in a mouse which was approved and has resulted in a mouse with a human like brain in some aspects ( results to be published later ). It may be very dark humor, but I imagined that the mouse used its claws to scratch the words "KILL ME RIPLEY" on the bottom of her cage.
