Blender screws and snakes

This is an example of taking a circle and doing spin dup, screw, and adding a texture. It could be rope, springs, or snake. It can have armatures applied to make it springy, strike, or physics applied for a rope. The techniques involved are covered in several tutorials, the only trouble I had was that "context" issues affect how the different tools respond. Edit mode and Object mode application of the same technique can have different consequences. In edit mode the vertices are moved without affecting the center of the object as far as rotation and mass.
