Interesting study of cougar claws imply that a person could track back any animal including naked ape for some time, even if they are dead. I suppose a hair sample might work just as well for C¹²/C¹³ and H₂O / D₂O ratios. I have another data base for Google to make --- D₂O and C¹³ maps of the earth. I really think that an integrated composite data base that worked like NOAA weather maps would be cool and it could have crime, housing prices, level of government corruption, and average number of mistresses / hookers each politician or government official maintained with public funds.
