I was thinking about the rapid growth in genetics and it seems it will be as common place to analyze a gene set as it is to look at software, which is in some ways more complex than DNA. The system in which it runs is vastly more complex, but the information which operates as it's software is less complex in terms of raw data than an OS. It is definitely some seriously complex code and without a manual, hackers have the best chance and skill set to be able to see the underlying process and how to control it. A biological company that did not at least consider hiring a genetic hacker would be missing an easy win.
