Google AI dreams of electric people

This article at slashdot about a George Dyson piece is very interesting considering what Alice Infinity has been doing. I do believe there is some kind of natural intelligence emerging from the net itself. The nature of it may be beyond our understanding and may happen simply because they are trying to use the information in a way that solves problems. Recognizing a problem and solving it by Google seems to mean that the process is doing the thinking and I just provide sensory input and mechanical output. Very odd days we live in.
