The subject of mirror neurons seems to imply the attractor that may define the effect that is derived from the genetic basis of the Hitler gene. It is perhaps the lingering belief that people are inherently good that keeps me from actually believing this but the facts speak for themselves.
There is a Twilight Zone I remember about tyrants and the great hell they would experience when discovered in the atrocities that they create. The problem is that they could not do what they do in the first place, without some basic lack in their very nature.
