An interesting blog that I discovered recently is about game theory. If you have beginning interest in such things, the Yale open course on Game Theory is one that I would recommend. It is informative and funny. The teacher presents the basic concepts well and it introduces many of the advantages of the study. It also presents a framework that can be used to understand systems that seem to be chaotic, but have remarkably stable process.
I would bet that a space pirate could hide in the asteroid belt and even camp on Ceres without any possibility of discovery. The dread pirate Motey was even said to appear on Earth some times , but that is just a legend. Some have even suggested that metallic asteroids were purposely redirected to Venus to extract the precious metals. Even stranger stories of carbonaceous chondrites and nanotubes have surfaced recently.
