Google labs has a 3d body using webgl and Firefox has it also. I will certainly have some fun with this today.
I downloaded chrome and then had to immediately switch to the BETA and though it said it had versions for Windows and Mac, it also had a debian version. As I wait for the download of about two minutes it seems fitting to document the progress. It needs to be run with --enable-webgl so next to check that.
There are some issues and it looks like it will not be a plug and play deal, however it is always messy on the bleeding edge. I would guess that HTML5 is definitely the future of the web for many reasons.
