Worms first

The first model is worms that become ants. I have spent my time with blender and completed a survey quicker than I thought. It is oriented very much around Python associations and BPY or the linking lib that Python imports ( or equivalent action ) is the methods to interface the internals and that allows access to the information I need. I can accelerate code outside of blender and preset the things I need without fiddling with blender. I just use it as another | pipe. In terms of how biological models are created I am using the presumption that I have about how the process has advanced over time to find its current position. During embryonic development, a creature will go through the stages of diversification that lead to the organism in the first place.

The ability of a cell to recognize its peers is critical to organism coherence. The ability to recognize antithetic material is also important. My path is sphere, internal sphere has lower growth due to blocked access to nutrients, caves in, grows on the internal surface and becomes elongated torus. Contractile action is the first mechanical musculature of peristalsis. So tube worm. Then the differentiation to orientation is chemically driven by the path of contraction. Thus it is determined to have a foot that is capable of anchor and a mouth that is opposite. That is the extent of conjecture for today and then I will test it interactively in simulation and then investigate a primal form. I will block chemical pathways (in all 3 dimensions at once and in all 6 other configurations), then block ability to cohere, then add a nutrient gradient, then selectively destroy cells by nano-cauterization. I intend to search for similar research and I know that it has been done with Planaria, however I am looking for information on a more primitive worm.

The worm image is blended by curve and adjust to the shape I wanted, extrude ends, convert to vertexes, extrude flat, extrude cubic, sub-surface, scale, save. About 35 seconds of work and 15 minutes to explain it, make a captured render, save, upload to Google, insert, modify image, write this and think of a fitting mouse over. For illustrating it is vastly superior to trying to do shading in Inkscape. I can take the rendered image and convert it back to a flat for SVG, but I wonder, is it worth it unless a person does not have blender on the other end of communications.

It is not necessary to have any DNA involvement at this stage of pseudo evolution.

I also learned a few dozen new tricks for blender and will incorporate those in the Alice Infinity character. There are some great free textures that go with blender and I need to do the cloth mapping properly so I don't have to do it twice. I am taking a completely different approach to the animation as I am generating the vertexes outside blender so that I can have wrinkles and surface distortion that comes with volumetric distortion of the form. I also need to script a distance focus blurring script or find one.

I thought of a new idea just now. Forced evolution of the lower form transition by transfer and insertion of the differential DNA as a plasmid? ( electroporation and chemoporation ) I think I am correct on that, however I will see if it is necessary to test at all or whether it is obvious.

I see three major merges of large gene transfer would be likely and they would be mitochondrial, stemming, and retroviral. A good starting premise I think.

It is clear after some study that the sphere to cylinder transition is realistic and the nano-tubule matrix would result in the formation of a "waist" and thus an ultimate "dumbell" structure imposed on the cylinder which then leads to an axis system that is dimensional and unique with head and tail. The embryonic environment provides the fluid system that leads to the first stage of differentiation. Whether in egg or internally. Some other systems act as almost complete separate organisms to the whole.
