Multiple Technology Integration

I have background in the following areas and I can interpolate the uses of these technologies into a common framework.

10. Artificial intelligence
11. Mechanical design
12. Theoretical physics

14. Analog circuit design and programming
15. Chemical qualitative and quantitative analysis
16. Industrial process control

I wish I was an expert in these fields, but that is very much impossible considering how complex each has become. I know enough to mix the technologies and I feel that there is really only one question to be answered from all of this. Will people learn to live with each other or will they go mad and drive themselves into stone age for a new dark ages that could last until man is no more.

It in the integration of all these technologies it is definitely possible to create a device now that exceeds human capabilities for reason and creativity and imagination. It seems that the world is definitely on the edge of something very odd and it has little to do with people themselves and governments, but what will the machine think? It is advisable that people establish themselves as the operators of machines and not the tools. I am sure that there will be an attempt to grasp power at this junction as it is inherent in the nature of people to create a world where others are destroyed and used to further their personal definition of 'good'.
