This article at slashdot is exactly what I predicted for the US in a joking way. After smoking comes eating, spitting, farting, thinking. Soon everything will be illegal and what that really means is that if you are not a congressman, it is illegal for you to be alive.
Officer: I was on routine patrol and I saw this perp and he obviously was doing something as he turned away from the car. It turns out he was taking deep breaths and stealing oxygen over his daily quota. These criminals have no sense of decency. He even farted when I arrested him which is an extra 2 years, he'll have lots of time to think about his attitude on the torture farm.
